Ethiopian Community in Seattle (ECS) has served Ethiopian and East African residents in the Seattle area for more than four decades.
The organization says it began in 1980 and incorporated in 1983, initially helping community members navigate jobs, housing, healthcare, and legal services. Today, ECS focuses on education, health, housing, advocacy, and culturally appropriate support for families across King County.
